Personal Assistant School

The EBA has announced the launch of the EBA Personal Assistant (PA) School and the opening of enrolment for this school during 2010.

Participants in the school will learn to perform their work according to the highest ethical standards and obtain guidance as to providing quality deliverables and professional classification.

The PA School will be held on a monthly basis, providing both mandatory classes and optional classes that may be offered as well.

Women's Club

In 2006, The Economist estimated that over the previous decarde, work performed by women made a greater contribution to global growth than China.  Goldman Sachs reported that countries and regions of the world could dramatically increase GDP simply by reducing the gap in employment rates between men and women: It said that the Eurozone could increase GDP by 13%; Japan by 16%; and the U.S. by 9% (Source - UNIFEM, Advancing Women in the Global Marketplace).

There is no doubt that women are a great power in business, but it is also true that women's style of doing business, problem-solving and needs differ from those of men.

That is  why the European Business Association is launching a new social project, "Women's Club", which it hopes will become a great networking platform for women employed by EBA member companies.

EBA Ad Campaign Seeks Candidates

The European Business Association has launched an advertising campaign that invites presidential candidates to meet EBA members.  The ads, which appeared in the business press and on popular websites, help ensure that the candidates, journalists and the Ukrainian people are informed about EBA's vision for improving the Ukrainian investment climate.

The EBA has targeted areas it considered vital to business and job creation, including VAT refund, judicial reform, customs procedures, technical trade barriers, the fight against corruption, currency protection issues, and land reform.

The EBA ad, an open letter to candidates, was published in Kommersant, Investgazeta, Delo, Ekonomicheskie Izvestiya, Uryadovij Kurjer, Kiev Post, Zerkalo Nedeli, and on the Korrespondent.net, and Pravda.com.ua sites.
The European Business Association wants to conduct an open dialogue and hopes that Presidential candidates will respond to the proposal of the largest business community in Ukraine.
